Terms of Service

NotePeel provides sticky note software in two forms:

• Desktop app — a macOS application downloaded from notepeel.com
• Browser app — a web application at app.notepeel.com requiring a free account

NotePeel is free — always. Pro is an optional paid subscription for power users who want integrations, sync, and additional features. The core app will never be paywalled.

The desktop app does not require an account. The browser app does.

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide an accurate email address
• Keep your password secure and not share it
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your notes are yours. You own all content you create in NotePeel. We don't claim any ownership over your notes.

By using the browser app, you grant us a limited license to store, sync, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This license ends when you delete your content or your account.

You agree not to use NotePeel to store or transmit content that is:

• Illegal under applicable law
• Malware, spam, or phishing material
• In violation of a third party's intellectual property rights

You agree not to:

• Use the service to harm, harass, or threaten others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the software
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the service in an automated way
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• Resell or sublicense the service without written permission

We aim to keep NotePeel available and running well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

• Perform maintenance that temporarily makes the service unavailable
• Update, change, or remove features at any time
• Discontinue the service with reasonable notice

The desktop app, once downloaded, will continue to function offline regardless of the service status.

While NotePeel is free, we reserve the right to introduce reasonable usage limits in the future (e.g., storage caps for the browser app) with advance notice. We will not retroactively restrict access to notes you've already created.

NotePeel, including its name, logo, design, and code, is owned by Beast Creative LLC and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of NotePeel to you.

You may not use the NotePeel name, logo, or branding without written permission.

Your use of NotePeel is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

NotePeel is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees that the service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beast Creative LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of NotePeel — including loss of data, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed $50 USD.

You may stop using NotePeel at any time. For the browser app, you can delete your account from the app settings, which permanently removes your data.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. We will give you reasonable notice unless the violation requires immediate action for security or legal reasons.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the state where Beast Creative LLC is registered, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the website or emailing registered users. Continued use of NotePeel after the effective date of new Terms constitutes acceptance.
