Don Wilder
Solo founder, Beast Creative
Don is a product developer based in Southeast Asia for over 15 years. His background is in physical consumer goods — from ideation and prototyping through design, manufacturing, and global distribution across categories like fashion accessories, electronics, sporting goods, toys and games, and more.
He now applies that same product-first mindset to software, building tools that solve real problems without unnecessary complexity.
Why sticky notes?
Through years of managing product development across factories, suppliers, and shipping timelines, Don relied heavily on sticky notes. Quick thoughts, reminders, half-formed ideas — scribbled on yellow squares and stuck to monitors, walls, and notebook covers. They were the one tool that never got in the way.
When he shifted focus to software, he noticed the same problem everyone runs into: note-taking apps try to be everything. They want to be your second brain, your project manager, your journal. Sometimes you just need to write something down and get it out of your head.
That inspiration became NotePeel — the sticky note, digitized. The hashtag is the instruction. Tag it, peel it, it's handled.
Why free?
The core capture experience should cost nothing. If you just need to dump thoughts, organize with hashtags, and move on — that's free. Pro (coming 2026) adds integrations and sync for tools like Notion, Gmail, and Slack.
Design philosophy
Brutalist minimalist. If something doesn't need to be there, it shouldn't be. Good tools should feel invisible — they do their job and get out of the way.
NotePeel is one of several products from Beast Creative.
